Adam brings over two decades of experience in business, government, politics, fundraising, and law, with a special focus on assisting Resolute clients in their domestic and global business needs. He is internationally recognized for his innovative thinking and extensive expertise in international affairs with and among global trade organizations, multinational companies, and foreign governments.
Adam serves as Principal at Resolute–DC, our federal government relations and lobbying firm based in Washington, D.C. He brings his deep experience in policy and regulatory decision-making environments to develop tailored, impactful government relations campaigns and lobby members of the executive and legislative branches of government and their staffs. Adam also serves as Executive Vice President at Resolute Public Affairs, where he adds his expertise to our team servicing national and international clientele.
At Resolute, Adam plays critical strategic roles for clients. Recently, he helped lead a national outreach and engagement campaign for Discovery, Inc’s efforts to protect free and independent media in Poland – successfully securing one of the company’s television license there in the face of aggressive political opposition. He also works with the Resolute team in support of several global clients.
Prior to Resolute, Adam managed international affairs and global business development for Lennar International, a multi-billion-dollar division of Lennar, America’s largest and most innovative home builder. Previously, Adam served in the Obama Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration in Washington, D.C. He rose to Chief of Staff there and was a leader for the President’s National Export Initiative to double exports and increase job growth during the Great Recession. He also helped lead trade missions to countries across the globe and elevated critical trade promotion programming.
In addition to global business and not-for-profit management, Adam has worked in leadership and volunteer roles in six presidential campaigns including Obama for President (’08 and ’12) and Biden for President (‘08 and ‘16).
Adam earned a law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Florida, and holds a Certificate in International Mediation from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
