AMI HAS COLLABORATED WITH HUNDREDS OF KEY DECISION MAKERS IN CONGRESS, GOVERNORS, AND LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS ON CRITICAL ISSUES.

A leading strategist and senior public affairs executive, Ami has over 20 years of diverse experience developing and executing strategies and building teams that meet and exceed policy, regulatory, communications, and development goals. He has collaborated with hundreds of key decisionmakers across federal agencies, in Congress, governors, and local elected officials on critical economic issues including climate and energy, immigration, tax, trade, and budget priorities.

At Resolute Ami strengthens and expands our strategic advisory services, using his national experience in the public and private sectors. He also manages strategic partnerships for Resolute. Strategic Services, our risk-analysis and cybersecurity advisory firm and serves as an Executive Vice President of ResoluteDCour government relations and lobbying firm.

Ami is frequently sought after by national media for his perspective on national politics. He is frequently quoted in PoliticoTimeNew York Times, The Washington Post and on NPR.

Prior to joining Resolute, Ami served as Executive Director of Business Forward, a national business trade group that is active in over 100 cities around the country working with over 100,000 local business leaders and executives.

Ami served as Deputy National Finance Director for Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign and Senior Finance Advisor to the Democratic National Committee during the 2008 presidential election cycle. His participation in nearly every aspect of the Obama for America Finance Department led to an all-time high contribution record and culminated in the election of President Barack Obama.

In 2009, Ami was a founding Partner at New Partners Consulting where he advised dozens of corporations, non-profits, and campaigns by providing strategic direction, overseeing successful fundraising operations, and creating and managing national and local advocacy efforts.

Ami began his political career working for Senator Tom Harkin, and has held leadership positions in the reelection campaigns of Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, Senator Bill Nelson and within the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Before launching his professional political career, Ami lived abroad, obtained the rank of First Sergeant in the Israeli Defense Forces, and worked as an investment banker and business journalist in Europe. Ami is a Governor-appointed Commissioner on the Serve Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service, a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the American Council of Young Political Leaders.
