Brendan is a DC public affairs strategist with over 15 years of experience successfully navigating client issues and opportunities through the complex, often challenging decision-making process on Capitol Hill, in the Administration and in the private sector. His strong relationship-building and client management skills have helped him build high-impact coalitions, engage key decision-makers, and ultimately secure legislative wins.

Brendan is recognized for his deep experience in data analysis, which allows him to see “the big picture” quickly and provide data-based strategic solutions.

At Resolute, Brendan plays a critical role in the firm’s D.C. office, applying his political insight and advocacy experience to shape strategies and communications that deliver results. Current client responsibilities include ASML and ESG for Economic Competitiveness.

Prior to Resolute, Brendan worked for an innovative D.C. survey research and consulting firm that provides multi-directional data analysis audience projection for Fortune 500 corporations, local and national campaigns, and national trade associations. There he led the firm’s client engagement, partnering with numerous organizations, including the National Football Players Association (NFLPA).

Earlier in Brendan’s career, he spent ten years with the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (now FINESCA), driving the life insurance industry’s advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill, including successfully coordinating the industry’s grassroots response with industry partners to harmful tax legislation and regulatory rules put forth by the Department of Labor under Dodd-Frank. He also facilitated thousands of agents’ and financial advisors’ relationships with policymakers.

Brendan has also worked on two federal campaigns: Dean for America presidential campaign and Congressman Ron Klein’s re-elect campaign.

Brendan is a graduate of Elon University with a B.A. in political science.
