Resolute Thought Leadership in Action

CORY SIMPSON,  Executive Vice President, Resolute Strategic Services.

Through a joint initiative between the R Street Institute’s Cyber and Emerging Threats team led by Tatyana Bolton; the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center’s Cyber Project led by Lauren Zabierek; and Cory Simpson of Resolute Strategic Services, the team worked to identify areas of consensus for, and provide analysis on, the current roadblocks to Data Security and Privacy Legislation.

Together, they will be moderating a virtual half-day conference Data Privacy Day: A Path Forward for Federal Legislation, sponsored by R Street Institute, Thursday, January 27, 2022, which will include keynote addresses from Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore) and Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn).

Cory has served at the center of U.S. national security issues impacting the United States government and global competitiveness. He is among the nation’s leading experts on cybersecurity, public policy, and emerging technologies – and the pressing need to align economic security with national security.

JAMIE SINGER, Executive Vice President, Resolute Strategic Services
Jamie Singer will be among the esteemed cybersecurity experts speaking at NetDiligence® CyberRisk Summit panel on February 1, 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There will be panel discussions on hot topics, current issues and evolving trends in the cyber risk management industry.

The Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center recently published Sarah’s article, “Is the U.S going to screen outbound investment?” The article notes: “There is a growing consensus in Washington that the U.S. government needs more tools to prevent the People’s Republic of China (PRC) from using U.S. capital markets to amass military capabilities and control supply chain chokepoints.” The article looks at the draft of the Casey/Cornyn bill and likely unintended effects. She also participated in a related round table discussion on the topic.
